Privacy Policy for 王羲之蘭亭序 (Lantingxu)

This privacy policy applies to the Android application 王羲之蘭亭序 (English name: Lantingxu; package name: com.jiyuzhai.lantingxu), developed and published on Google Play by Zhang Dongdong.

1. Scope

The app does not require an account and does not intentionally access your contacts, precise location, camera, microphone, or phone contents.

2. Data stored on your device

Browsing history, favorites, bookmarks, practice statistics, custom couplets, language, and display settings are stored on your device to provide app features. Android may back up some ordinary data according to your system backup settings. Paid entitlements and rewarded-ad trial access are excluded from system backup and device transfer. Uninstalling the app normally removes its internal data.

3. Saving and sharing images

The app writes an image to the Lantingxu folder in the system gallery only when you choose Save. On Android 9 or earlier, this feature may require the legacy permission to write external storage. When you choose Share, the content is passed to the Android system share sheet, and the app you select is responsible for subsequent processing.

4. Network features and feedback

When you deliberately submit in-app feedback, the app sends the app name, app version, Android platform, and the text you enter to the developer service over HTTPS. If you use the email option, your chosen email app handles the message. Do not include unnecessary sensitive information in feedback. When you view the Lanting Xu information page, an embedded browser connects to Baidu Baike, which may receive standard connection information such as your IP address and User-Agent.

When you deliberately use the activation page to activate premium access, the app sends the app name, version, package name, and activation code you enter to the developer service to verify the entitlement. This activation option is available in both the Google Play and Mainland editions.

5. Google Play edition

The Google Play edition uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK and User Messaging Platform to display ads, manage privacy choices, limit frequency, measure performance, prevent fraud, and diagnose problems. It also uses Firebase Analytics to record screen views and a limited set of app actions for product analytics and diagnostics. Search terms, feedback text, activation codes, purchase tokens, and file names are not sent to Firebase Analytics. Google may process IP addresses, advertising IDs, device or other identifiers, app interactions, and diagnostic data. The actual processing depends on your region, device settings, and consent choices. Where available, you can reopen consent choices under Settings - Privacy choices. Google Play in-app purchases are processed by Google Play Billing. The app queries Google Play for product and purchase status and stores the resulting entitlement state on your device. The developer does not receive your full payment-card details. Google is responsible for Google Play purchase terms and data processing.

The Mainland edition does not include Firebase Analytics, the Google Mobile Ads SDK, User Messaging Platform, or Google Play Billing SDK.

6. Retention and your choices

On-device data remains until you delete it in the app, clear app data, or uninstall. Images saved to the gallery must be deleted by you from the system gallery. Feedback and activation data submitted to the developer service are retained only as needed to respond, maintain the service, prevent abuse, and meet applicable legal obligations. 7. Security, changes, and contact

Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are used for data handled by the developer. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. When this policy changes, this page and its updated date will be revised.
